Marriage Encounter

Marriage Encounter promotes and encourages marriage and family life by offering Marriage Encounter weekends and a support group.  It encourages the discovery of God's vision of marriage and family life and spiritual diversity, thereby leading to a clearer understanding of the couple's relationship with each other and with God.

Marriage Encounter began with the concept that the married couple needs to grow together and in the belief that the future of the world begins at the heart of the family--the couple.  Since the idea sparked in 1952, the concept has grown, and now hundreds of thousands of couples  have made the Marriage Encounter weekend.

Prayer for Vocations
God, source of creation and love, you invite each of us to serve you through the gift of our lives. May your grace encourage men and women to serve the church as priests, sisters, brothers, and lay ministers. Make us an instrument to encourage others to give of themselves and challenge us to do the same. Amen.
