Welcome to Saint Gerald Catholic Church

The Least Likely One
The latest Spirit Link contains a stewardship form. Please complete the form and bring it to church with you on Stewardship Sunday. Stewardship is putting yourself "out there for God to use." If you look at the form and think: "Why should I?", answer, "because God wants somebody just like me. God knows how to use ordinary people to bring about extraordinary things. " Lord, help me to say "yes" just like Mary did.

The Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) is an opportunity for men and women in their 50’s, 60’s and 70’s to offer their talents, wisdom and life experience in direct service to the needs of people who are poor. Volunteers commit to serve either one day or two days per week, with a local non-profit agency. IVC provides guidance for personal reflection and prayerful conversations with fellow IVC volunteers. Together we hope to see the face of Christ a little more clearly and contribute to the transformation of the world. For more information, contact Jerry Heinrichs, Regional Director, at 778-7551.

Mission Statement
We, as St. Gerald Parish, are a Eucharistic community who will help each other to be good and faithful stewards of God's love. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we will accomplish this through prayer, worship, education and service.
Identity Statement
St. Gerald Catholic Parish is a worshipping Eucharistic community. Jesus Christ, our brother and our God, is the heart and center of our parish life and worship. We recognize Christ and his love in the Eucharist, ourselves, one another and in all people.
Vision Statement
Jesus came among us to do God's will. We, as members of St. Gerald Parish community, also strive to live God's will in our individual lives and parish life. These activities encourage the worship, education, spiritual growth, and the service outreach of our parish members. St. Gerald's Parish calls forth its parishioners to be stewards that develop and use their talents, gifts and resources to help our parish community and the wider community beyond us. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we will live the Gospel's mandate of love and share that love with others. We look forward to the heavenly banquet with our loving God and Father.
