Third Week of Lent
Saturday, Friday, March 13 - Seeking Forgiveness with Humility

Luke often shows us Jesus’ compassion for the outcast and his impatience with the hypocrite. Today’s reading, the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector (Luke 18:9-14), teaches the necessity of our humility before God and our need for forgiveness, no matter how righteous we think we are. We all need God’s mercy. If you have not yet received the sacrament of Reconciliation this Lent, do so soon.

Vision Statement
Jesus came among us to do God's will. We, as members of St. Gerald Parish community, also strive to live God's will in our individual lives and parish life. These activities encourage the worship, education, spiritual growth, and the service outreach of our parish members. St. Gerald's Parish calls forth its parishioners to be stewards that develop and use their talents, gifts and resources to help our parish community and the wider community beyond us.
