Human Needs Committee
The Human Needs Committee provides service opportunities, advocacy, empowerment and education of the Church position
concerning justice issues. Among other things, part of this group goes to the shelters once a month to cook and serve
the evening meal. At Christmas time they give us the opportunity to provide gifts for residents of nursing homes and
the needy through the Angel Tree. The annual soup supper served during Lent is another project of this group.
Hold fast to God's hand
And He will lead you safely through all trials. Whenever you cannot stand, He will carry you lovingly in His arms. - St. Francis de Sales |
