NEBRASKA ABORTIONS FOR JANUARY THROUGH MAY 2008
The Bishops' Pastoral Plan for Pro Life Activities regrets to inform you that 195 babies were killed by induced abortion during January, 222 in February, 222 in March, 228 in April and 222 in May in Nebraska. Since 1973, there have been 166,475 babies killed by induced abortions in Nebraska. Nationally, there have been roughly 50 million abortions done since 1973. There are an estimated 1.3 million done annually in the U.S. (3,561/day; 148/hour). Please pray for an end to this destruction of human life and for the spiritual and psychological healing of all persons wounded by abortion.
