Save the Date.

Our Senior Recognition Mass this year will be on Sunday, April 20th at 10:30 a.m. It will be followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall. All graduating Seniors are invited to attend and receive a special blessing and graduation gift from your parish. Call Kathy if you plan to attend.

Young Adult Faith Sharing with resume at St. Gerald on March 27th in the library at 7pm. The topic is "Eucharistic Miracles."

Got Service?

Our High School Faith Formation  Group  "Christ in the Real World"  is focusing on service activities this semester. We meet every Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Youth Room .

TEC RETREAT- If you are a junior, senior or college student, you are invited to a dynamic three-day retreat called TEC (Teens Encounter Christ). TEC is a high energy, youth-focused, spirit-directed faith experience offered by the Archdiocese of Omaha. The next TEC retreat is March 29-31, Archdiocese Retreat and Conference Center. Youth Serve         

What is it? Youth Serve is an overnight service-learning program especially designed for teams of adults and young adolescents going into the 8th and 9th grades. 
When is it?   
Sunday through Tuesday, July13-15, or July 27-29, 2008.
Where is it? The College of St. Mary and Service sites in the Omaha area.
Why Youth Serve? Youth Serve builds on young adolescents' capacity for service to others. Young people hunger for meaningful experiences in helping others. Youth Serve provides engaging learning experiences based on the life of Jesus and Catholic Social teaching. It introduces youth  to service as an integral part of Christian life.
How do I sign up?

Confirmation News

This year's Confirmation ceremony is already rapidly approaching so here are some reminders for the important dates:
April 3rd-- Confirmation Practice at 7 pm for candidates and sponsors.
April 4th -- Confirmation Party in the Parish Center from 6-8 p.m
We will have Dodge ball and other games, ice cream and prizes.
April 6th-- Confirmation at 3 pm!
Please be sure that all of your forms and letters are ready to be turned in by the deadline. Call the business office if you are not sure that your paperwork is completed.
